Special Commissions  -  a 1930's house

A replica of a house built in the 1930's for the local grocer.  Built to a scale of 1/16 and measuring approximately 40" (102 cm) square, the full-size house has a number of mock-Tudor features to the interior.

The model features both external and internal detail.  Access to the interior is made by means of removable sections as the replica was intended mainly as a display model.  Lighting is fitted.  To save display space, the attached garage was largely omitted and reproduced as being 'under construction'.  This adds extra interest to the replica.
